A review of 2012

James Grinter (Managing Director) said that 2012 had been an exciting year with some excellent results and some wonderful finds. The pair of Chinese porcelain fish bowls which he discovered in a local barn which sold for £27,000, was one of the highlights for him. Despite the hard economic climate, the saleroom is even busier and prices in may areas are still rising. The addition of our Specialist Coin & Militaria Sales has proved a great success with the fabulous Wing Commander Ken Gatwood medal group fetching £41,000 in November being a great result and a fitting tribute to a national hero.
