James Grinter – Senior Partner James has more than 29 years experience as an auctioneer – his extensive knowledge covers a variety of subjects including Royal memorabilia, furniture, oriental ceramics, weapons, militaria and classic cars. James regularly gives talks and writes articles on antiques. He is a specialist advisor on BBC Radio Essex and an expert valuer for the BBC ‘Flog It’ programme. |

Chris Leeson BSc DipTP MRICS – Managing Partner Chris is a chartered surveyor with 26 years experience in general practice. He deals with the Official Receiver for whom we are the agents for Essex and Suffolk which includes the sale of vehicles and liquidated stock. He is also responsible for the Property auctions and Lettings Department. |

Marc Winter MRICS – Associate Partner Marc has 14 years experience as an auctioneer and valuer and is head of our Valuations department. He has an excellent general knowledge and specialises in jewellery, English porcelain and furniture. He qualified in the Fine Art Division of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors with a distinction and has a Jewellers’ Diploma. He is also an expert valuer for the BBC ‘Flog It’ programme. |

Jonathan Benson – Auctioneer & Valuer Jonathan is a highly accomplished auctioneer and specialises in pictures, silver, taxidermy and field sports memorabilia. |

Michael Bowles – Collectables Specialist Michael has over 30 years experience and an extensive knowledge of stamps, postcards, cigarette cards, toys and ephemera. He is a regular adviser of BBC Radio Essex and also an expert valuer for the BBC ‘Flog It’ programme. |

Robert Putt – Antiques & Fine Art Consultant Robert has over 45 years experience in the profession and a wealth of knowledge of Antiques and Fine Art. |

Timothy Medhurst – Trainee Auctioneer Tim joined us in 2008 and despite his youth, has an excellent knowledge of coins as well as a great interest in antiques. |

Ian Brightwell – Saleroom Manager Ian has been with us for 14 years and is responsible for our General Sales and has a wide general knowledge. |
