Buying With Us
We produce catalogues for all our sales which are available by subscription or for free online on our website, on the-saleroom.com and invaluable.com
Our sales are normally fortnightly on a Tuesday and commence at 10 am. Pre-sale viewings are on the previous Saturday morning 9 am to 1 pm, all day Monday 9.30 am to 5.30 pm and on the morning of the sale from 9 am.
To register with us you will need to complete a Buyers Registration Form and provide ID ie.passport, driving licence, current utility bill and Credit/Debit card details.
For online bidders we are pleased to provide condition reports provided they are submitted within 24 hours prior to the sale. We are also pleased to accept absentee bids.
All our specialist sales have live online bidding via the saleroom.com for which they charge an extra 3% plus VAT of the hammer price.Telephone bidding:- It is possible to bid over the telephone on higher value lots. We have limited telephone lines and will deal with telephone bids on a first come, first served basis. All telephone bids must be booked by 4pm the day before the sale, without exception (for Fine Art Sales and Collectors’ Sales only).
We charge a buyer’s premium of 20% subject to VAT. Payment can be made by cash (up to £7500), cheque supported by a banker’s card, debit or credit cards (credit card payments are subject to a 2% surcharge).
We do not provide a postage and packing service, however we use Mailboxes who can be contacted on 01206 368881 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Our office hours are Monday 9.30am - 5.30pm, Tuesday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm and Saturday 9am - 1pm.
