Jayne became a Fellow of The Royal Photographic Society in 2020 and is now an Assessment Panel Member. In this, her first exhibition for the National Horseracing Museum, Jayne has captured the atmosphere and emotion of moments rarely seen by the wider public. Jayne’s images offer an opportunity to appreciate the diversity, talent and dedication of those working ‘behind-the-scenes’ in racing.

Jayne Odell developed a passion for equine photography after moving to Newmarket in 2016. Her work conveys the unique rhythm of a town devoted to horseracing and shows careful consideration of balance and composition. She captures beautiful images of thoroughbreds in training as well as the landscape and kinfolk of Newmarket.
