Sir Cecil Beaton, three original colour negative slides of portraits of H.M.Queen Elizabeth II holding her infant son Prince Edward taken in 1964 , Elizabeth Taylor holding her infant son , a seductive portrait of Marilyn Monroe taken at The Ambassador Hotel, New York in February 1956 and six colour negatives some dated 1964 of Peter Sellers and family including Britt Ekland, his mother and Ray Gurton - his personal chef and an interior scene. Sold with an album of First Day covers including envelopes addressed to Cecil Beaton. Provenance : From the Estate of the late Ray Gurton who was the personal chef to Peter Sellers and later to Cecil Beaton.

FEES : Please note that if you bid on a timed online auction, you will be charged our standard buyer’s premium of 20% subject to VAT (24% in total) plus an additional 3% (plus VAT) timed online bidding charge on the hammer price.
Payment & Collection : Our office will remain open for phone calls and emails only during the lockdown period. All auction lot payments must be made remotely before collection (over the telephone or online). We will provide an in-house postage and packing service for small non fragile items. All larger and fragile items will need to be collected by an independant shipping company or can be collected strictly by appointment with our staff. We kindly request you call the office on your arrival and the lots will be brought out to your vehicle.
