The medal & militaria department hold four dedicated sales over the course of the year, these sales can be found as part of our larger Specialist Collectors Auctions. They are fully illustrated and sold live in the room and online to an international audience.

Recent sale highlights include a scarce original First World War tank crew mask, formerly the property of John Henry Small, which sold for almost £1,500. As well as single items we have been privileged to handle some exceptional private collections. One such collection sold for in excess of £200,000 and featured two Lloyds patriotic fund swords, awarded to heroes of the Napoleonic Wars, one of these, a 50 Guinea sword, awarded to Lieutenant James Boxer sold for £46,000.
