This highly desirable early publication was released in the same year as the first impression, but the second impression was illustrated with additional plates and in full colour for the first time. The second impression ran to 2300 printed copies, 400 of which were held at the binder’s London warehouse and destroyed during a 1940 bombing raid. Our copy has survived in rather better order and is complete with original dust jacket, it carries an estimate of £2000-3000.
