They met in the early 1970s and were married in 1974 after which their mutual passion for collecting flourished. Throughout their London based working lives they travelled extensively around the world but Lorna's retirement in 1992 and a move to their much-loved Suffolk enabled them to visit galleries, Auction Houses and Antique Fairs across the country.
Inseparable and devoted to each other, over the following years, they became well known and respected buyers in their seemingly relentless pursuit of finding yet more treasures to add to their considerable and varied collections.
Lorna's death late in 2020 and Gordon's poor health have resulted in the dispersal of items from their diverse collections. Reeman Dansie are proud to present in the current sale an exceptional collection of Lowestoft porcelain, salt glazed and other pottery, silver, works of art and vertu.
The Lorna & Gordon Turner collection is being sold within our East Anglian, Fine Art & Antiques Sale which will take place on 27th, 28th & 29th April 2021
