Georgian silver soft fruit folding pocket knife with engraved silver blade, cast shell motives and wave carved and green stained ivory side plates, 15 cm open
Sold for £155
Condition Report
Uncertain as to why there is an extra hole where the blade pivots, the silver pin looks to be the original pivot although it is possible it has been repaired as there is a silver solder repair to the connection with the blade. The blade has probably been sharpened and feels a little thin, the end of the blade is a little gnarled, it is the correct length and not shortened. Blade opens and closes well. The green ivory handle is in good condition, only one old minute chip to the edge.
