Unusual Edwardian silver gilt cup and cover, the cup of circular form, on a circular base raised by three classical Dolphins and cover with finial depicting Triton, with presentation inscription to under side of lid ''Presented to Mr & Mrs Zimmerman on the occasion of their Golden Wedding from the staff 5th May 1916'',(Glasgow 1908), maker Elkington & Co, all at approximately 15oz, 21cm in height

Condition Report
Overall in good order with no signs of previous repairs and marks are clear. Gilding is worn in places, the cover being the most obvious area. Triton's conch shell has broken off but is present.

Timed Online auction sale, bidding finishes at 9pm on Sunday 29th November. The sale comprises jewellery, watches and silver.
FEES : Please note that if you bid on a timed online auction, you will be charged our standard buyer’s premium of 20% subject to VAT (24% in total) plus an additional 3% (plus VAT) timed online bidding charge on the hammer price.
Payment & Collection : Our office will remain open for phone calls and emails only during the lockdown period. All auction lot payments must be made remotely before collection (over the telephone or online). We will provide an in-house postage and packing service for small non fragile items. All larger and fragile items will need to be collected by an independant shipping company or can be collected strictly by appointment with our staff. We kindly request you call the office on your arrival and the lots will be brought out to your vehicle.
