Late 19th century Indian diamond, ruby, sapphire and gem set brooch in the form of a peacock, with pavé set stones in silver and gold setting. 11cm length.

Condition Report
An impressive and substantial brooch. Very good condition commensurate with age, no damage, no missing stones. The hook securing the pin has solder repair and is a bit loose. There is also a screw fitting to accommodate an alternative fitting (not present), possibly to enable to the brooch to have been worn as a hair ornament. Total gross weight approximately 39.3 grams.
