Condition Report
The opal is in very good condition commensurate with age and wear. The opal is believed to be natural but has not been tested to establish whether it is synthetic or not and is upto any prospective buyer to form their own opinion, definitely not a doublet, the ring is from a deceased estate and is sold without reserve. Setting in good condition, not hallmarked but stamped 9ct. Gross weight approximately 7.25 grams
There is one small chip to the underside of the opal, only just visible from the side and can be seen in the second of the extra images online.

FEES : Please note that if you bid on a timed online auction, you will be charged our standard buyer’s premium of 20% subject to VAT (24% in total) plus an additional 3% (plus VAT) timed online bidding charge on the hammer price.
Payment & Collection : We will provide an in-house postage and packing service for small non fragile items. All larger and fragile items will need to be collected by an independant shipping company or can be collected in person strictly by appointment with our staff.
Please note : We will be closing on Friday 18th December for the Christmas period and will reopen again on Monday 4th January.
