Early Victorian silver taper chamberstick of shaped circular form with foliate scroll borders, loop handle with chain attached snuffer (Birmingham 1838), makers mark rubbed, all at approximately 4oz, 7cm in height
N.B. marked with the duty mark of William IV as was sometimes the case during 1838 - 39, although Victoria succeeded him to the throne in 1837.

Chamberstick has a couple of minor pin dents and black spots. Snuffer has signs of a solder repair and is a bit distorted but would appear to be original to the chamberstick

Timed Online auction sale, bidding finishes at 9pm on Sunday 29th November. The sale comprises jewellery, watches and silver.
Payment & Collection : Our office will remain open for phone calls and emails only during the lockdown period. All auction lot payments must be made remotely before collection (over the telephone or online). We will provide an in-house postage and packing service for small non fragile items. All larger and fragile items will need to be collected by an independant shipping company or can be collected strictly by appointment with our staff. We kindly request you call the office on your arrival and the lots will be brought out to your vehicle.
