Timed Online
Reeman Dansie is pleased to announce that it will be holding a special timed online sale of Football Programmes and Memorabilia. The sale will start on Friday 11th July and will end at 9pm on Sunday 27th July.
The majority of the sale consists of a wonderful single-owner collection of over 300 West Ham programmes. The collection was formed by the late Andrew Davenport. An ardent supporter of West Ham, he was a regular at Upton Park from the early 1970s and became a Season Ticket holder in the early 1980s until his death earlier this year. Over the four decades he missed only a few away games and described the 1985/86 season as the best nine months ever, attending every game, home and away, during that record breaking year when the Hammers won 26/40 matches finishing 3rd in the League with 84 points. As well supporting the first team he was a regular at Chadwell Heath and Little Heath supporting the U18s. He had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the Club and a collection of programmes dating back to the 1920s. He was also a lifelong supporter of Essex County Cricket Club where he worked on the scoreboard for numerous years.
The sale also includes a collection of Manchester United memorabilia, to include signed shirts, prints, and boots. Other highlights include a photograph of the England 1966 World Cup Winning team with autographs of all eleven players and the manager Alf Ramsey.
Viewing will be by appointment only.
