We request that you pay for, and arrange a collection as soon as possible.
This can be in person or by courier, as soon as payment is received.
If you are arranging for a courier to collect your items, you will need to book an appointment on their behalf. Please see the list below of courier companies who will be happy to assist you, we would advise that you obtain a quote for costs beforehand. You are, of course, very welcome to use an alternative courier.
All collections, unless stated otherwise, will be from our Colchester auction room.
Reeman Dansie are able to provide an in-house postage and packing service for UK delivery only, of small unbreakable items, ie. jewellery, watches, coins, medals etc. If you would like to use this service, please call our office to obtain a quote.
If you purchase lots using the online bidding platform The Saleroom, you may receive an email from Auction Logistics, offering a shipping quote. If you wish to have an item shipped to your address, these shippers are able to visit Reeman Dansie to assess the item and suggest a quote. You are of course, welcome to use an alternative shipper of your choice; please deal with them directly to obtain your quote and then let us know if they have been instructed to collect your purchase(s).
The shippers listed, operate independently of Reeman Dansie, so postage and packaging will need to be organised and paid directly to their team. Upon being paid, the shippers will send their team to Reeman Dansie to collect the item and organise shipping.
Due to the regularity of our auctions and frequent consignment of new lots, please note that furniture bought in a Fine Art & Antiques Sale, will only be held at our premises for a limited time following the auction. The date of removal will be specified on our online catalogue preceding the sale, as well as on the invoice following the sale. All items of furniture, following the specified date, will be collected by R & D Schofield Removals and stored at their off-site storage facility, six miles northeast of our saleroom, at a cost per lot of £10 + VAT and £1 per day storage thereafter.
