“I have been a member of the Reeman Dansie team since 2010. With a degree in Fine Art, I naturally have an interest in this subject, specifically in relation to obscure objects, as well as Chinese export and particularly the Middle East, where I have been lucky enough to travel about extensively. I also have a great interest in horology and antique firearms which often go hand in hand.

During my time with Reeman Dansie, the one collection that excited me the most was an amazing single owner collection of Victorian and Edwardian Arts & Crafts silver by the leading designers and makers including Charles Ashbee, Archibald Knox and Liberty. It had been stored in a bank vault for over thirty years and was an absolute delight to handle and catalogue. One item alone, a beautifully enamelled Archibald Knox biscuit box made £26,000, while the whole collection made over £100,000, much to the owner’s delight!

Reeman Dansie has consistently adapted to changes over the years, responding to tastes and styles that come and go, as well as dealing with a profession that continues to evolve with advances in technology. One thing that has not changed is our passion for antiques and dedication to our clients.”
