Brian Killick was passionate about steam locomotives big and small so much so that when the children were young the family holidays were always near a railway station.

Brian was a wonderfully kind Dad and doting Grandad with a wicked sense of humour. His collection of cherished OO gauge steam locomotives, “not those god awful electric ones” grew to such an extent that it filled the house, loft and outside shed.

Once the family flew the nest and he grew older the back bedroom became his pride and joy filled with numerous wall cabinets meticulously displaying his prized collection and a mini track curled around the room. It was his happy place where he enjoyed many hours reminiscing about the glory days.
