Rich in symbolism, the sale also features serpentine jewels representing eternal love (lots 401 and 475), ivy motifs for fidelity and loyalty, and turquoise jewels inspired by the forget-me-not (lot 457).
Romance continues in the picture section, where lots 1137 and 1159 perfectly capture the Victorian love of sentiment and romance.
Introducing our early summer Harry Reeman’s Sale on the 2nd of June, including the usual eclectic array of antique furniture, furnishings, paintings, ceramics, silver and sundries and showcasing an enigmatic collection of shop contents from the long-standing interior design firm Woolpit Interiors.
