David caught the collecting bug at an early age, beginning to amass badges, uniforms and other articles connected with transport. Although his collection encompassed the railways and buses, it was trams that were his main passion. His family foundly recalling childhood holidays in Blackpool and day trips to the National Tramway Museum in Crich, Derbyshire. 

Lot 2900, Estimate £30 - £50

Following David’s passing his family have decided to offer his collection of transport memorabilia for sale, with the hope that the pieces will be enjoyed by their new custodians as much David did. His excellent collection gives a glimpse into a bygone age of trams, trolley buses and steam railways.
